About

Garanty Studios started in 2021 when Myk, the main developer, founder, and owner, decided to turn his passion for games and creativity into something of his own. The idea was simple: make games, experiment with different ideas, and create experiences that people can enjoy. Being able to express creativity through games and seeing people have fun playing them is what keeps the journey going.

The first official project was A NOT Troll Game. The early Beta 0.1 version was released on itch.io on August 20, 2022 - a simple troll-style platformer released on Myk's birthday. What started as a small experiment slowly grew with new updates, changes, and ideas, eventually becoming Version 1.5 and leading to its long-awaited release on Steam.

July 13, 2023 was a big day for A NOT Troll Game and Garanty Studios. The game officially released on Steam, opening up the game to a much larger audience and starting a new part of the journey. July 13 is now celebrated as the game's release anniversary, while also connecting back to July 13, 2022, the year of the original itch.io launch. Together, these dates are a small reminder of where the game started and how far it came. A NOT Troll Game eventually reached several thousand players, making it the first Garanty Studios game to reach a larger audience.

On June 1, 2024, the beta version of Magic Masters was released as the second official commercial project from Garanty Studios. Magic Masters is a mobile action game focused on real-time combat, where players can use different kinds of magic to fight against skeleton enemies. It was a different kind of game compared to A NOT Troll Game and came with its own ideas, challenges, and lessons. While it didn't reach the same numbers as A NOT Troll Game, it became another important part of the journey and helped shape what came next.

The goal and vision remain pretty simple: make unique experiences, prioritize the player, and deliver the best possible experience. Games should be available to as many people as possible, because good experiences shouldn't feel unnecessarily out of reach. Most importantly, the focus is on making games that are enjoyable to play and have their own identity, rather than simply making another game just for the sake of it.

In 2025, the game collection Archive of Tales was created to categorize standalone horror story experiences. The idea behind Archive of Tales is to give smaller horror experiences a place where they can exist as their own stories, each with their own atmosphere, gameplay, and ideas. Instead of everything being part of one large game, each experience can stand on its own and tell something different.

On August 8, 2026, Coloring was released as a new experience within this direction. Coloring is a horror, atmospheric maze and dark roguelike experience where you have to hide using colored lockers. The game focuses on atmosphere, exploration, and trying to survive while figuring out what is going on around you. It's another step into experimenting with different types of games and seeing what kinds of experiences can be created.

From a small platformer released on itch.io, to Steam, mobile games, and now standalone horror experiences, Garanty Studios has changed and grown along the way. Not everything will always be perfect, and not every project will become a huge success, but every game brings something new to learn, create, and improve on.

There are still plenty of ideas, games, and weird concepts waiting to be made. The goal is to keep creating, keep experimenting, and keep making experiences that are worth playing.

Come along the journey!
